AMERICAN BUSINESS MEDIA ANNOUNCES CEBA AWARDS FINALISTS
Out of a record 437 entries, only 37 are named finalists in the prestigious awards for Creative Excellence in Business Advertising

NEW YORK, August 25, 2004—Out of a record-breaking 437 entries, 37 made it to the final round of the 9th Annual Creative Excellence in Business Advertising (CEBA) Awards, presented by American Business Media. Finalists run the gamut of industries, from fashion and retail to insurance and technology. Best of show will win $25,000.

The CEBA Awards honor the best b-to-b print and interactive ads. This year, the CEBA Awards ceremony—slated for Tuesday, Sept. 21st on Madison Avenue—will be emceed by two advertising veterans: Cheryl Berman, chairman and chief creative officer at Leo Burnett USA, and John Colasanti, president of Carmichael Lynch.

This year’s CEBA judges were George Fertitta, president, Margeotes Fertitta & Partners; Tom Stein, president/CEO, Stein Rogan & Partners; Joyce King Thomas, executive vp/creative director, McCann Erickson Worldwide; and Deacon Webster, partner, Mad Dogs & Englishmen.
