Top Management panel brings together Advanstar, SearchChannel, Outsell & Google executives
NEW YORK, December 5, 2005—Interested parties unable to attend American Business Media’s Top Management Meeting in Chicago this November may now view edited footage of select panel presentations through video webcasts (videocasts). Now available on the ABM homepage, the premier Top Management videocast features select clips of Mike DeLuca, director of business development at Advanstar Communications; Bill Furlong, president of SearchChannel; Chuck Richard, vice president and lead analyst at Outsell, Inc.; and Spencer Spinnell, head of business and industrial markets at Google, Inc. discussing revenue opportunities of vertical search.
Focusing on niche-oriented models and leveraging information, the Top Management Vertical Search panel discussed the importance of editorial content and industry expertise when monetizing a company homepage. More than 280 attendees convened at the ABM Top Management Meeting this year at the Westin River North in Chicago, November 14th to 16th. The record attendance included publishers from all over the world, who gathered together to discuss a variety of issues crucial to the b-to-b media community, including e-media, international initiatives, and rich data.
Additional videocasts featuring segments of panel discussions regarding blogs, trade show development, and editorial integrity will debut online in the coming weeks.
