Entertainment brand, Variety, up for sale 

On Friday, Reed Business International announced that they would be putting their entertainment brand, Variety, up for sale. Variety was started in 1905 and has been the premier source for entertainment news. Mark Kelsey, the chief executive of Reed Business Information, said: ''Variety is an iconic title serving the film and entertainment industry for more than 100 years. Variety has an incredibly talented team who have successfully innovated and expanded the franchise in industry news and analysis. I have no doubt the business will continue to thrive under new ownership,'' according to the Variety website.
