Summit Business Media sees execs in transformation

April 19, 2012 - New Summit Business Media CEO Steve Weitzner has changed the CTO job into a CIO job, replacing former CTO Dave MacDonald with incoming CIO Brian Magnotta, per a report in Crain's B-to-B. Both Weitzner and Magnotta worked at Ziff Davis Enterprise before it was sold to QuinStreet earlier this year. Also out at Summit Business Media are CFO/COO Thomas Flynn and VP-Human Resources Kathy Schneider. Their replacements have not yet been named.

Summit also moved James E. Green from group editorial director of the life and health group to VP-content. Summit has hired former ZDE senior VP-editorial director Elliott Markowitz as director-strategic content. Both jobs are new positions for Summit.
