Architectural Record launches continuing education app, tops 320,000 Twitter followers
April 24, 2012 - McGraw-Hill’s Architectural Record this week launched what it says is a “first-of-its kind” continuing education mobile app for iPhone and iPad. The free app, available in the iTunes App Store, offers hundreds of free courses and allows architects, LEED Aps and other AEC professionals to take tests and earn continuing education credits for licensure and association membership.
The app is sponsored by Armstrong Ceiling & Wall Systems and represents McGraw-Hill Construction’s eighth app launch. “This is the app architects have told us they’ve been waiting for,” said Architectural Record publisher Laura Viscusi in a statement. “We developed it with them in mind, and the initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.”
Meanwhile Architectural Record says that its Twitter account, @ArchRecord, has exceeded 320,000 followers. @ArchRecord offers breaking news, event quips, special offers, photographs and community-based commentary.
