DIVERSIFIED BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS’ FRASER PROMOTED TO PUBLISHER OF NATIONAL FISHERMAN

PORTLAND, ME, July 6, 2005– Diversified Business Communications announces the promotion of Jerry Fraser to Publisher of National Fisherman, a trade publication serving the commercial fishing industry.

Fraser joined Diversified as Senior Editor in 1997 and was promoted to Editor-in-Chief in 1999. Fraser will now serve as both Publisher and Editor-in-Chief. Before joining Diversified, Fraser was an editor with the Boston Globe. He began his journalism career in 1987 and has worked for the York County Coast Star, Portsmouth Herald, and Florida Today.  Before entering the publishing world, Fraser was a commercial fisherman. He has been an avid supporter of the commercial fishing industry throughout his career.

“Jerry comes to this new position as a former commercial fisherman, journalist and as an individual with the business skills necessary for National Fisherman to thrive,” commented Michael Lodato, VP of Diversified’s Commercial Marine division.
