Call for Entries - Deadline November 2, 2009

  1. 1. Entry fee: $100 per entry.
  2. 2. The community action program nominated must be current—either ongoing or completed within the year preceding the Awards ceremony (between July 1, 2008 and October 31, 2009).

    Material about the nominee should have been published in an ABM member publication within the above cover dates or posted on an ABM member Web site within the same period.
  3. 3. Each ABM member publication/Web site may submit up to four entries.
  4. 4. Awards will be made to those nominees whose actions have made a significant impact. The editor of the nominating publication/Web site will also be recognized.
  5. There will be four Award winners and one Grand Littleford Award winner. A prize of $3,000 will be donated to the community service activity selected by the Grand Littleford Award winner, and $500 to each of the four Award winners.
  6. 5. All entries will be submitted to a Screening Board composed of experienced business publication editors. The highest-scoring entries will be passed on for evaluation to the Board of Judges consisting of individuals with outstanding business journalism or community service credentials.
  7. 6. Publications/Web sites that submitted winning entries will be expected to showcase those winners within the pages of their publications/Web sites, to have a representative on-hand to participate in the Awards ceremony, and to actively encourage the corporate winners to be part of that ceremony.
