The Business Press Educational Foundation (BPEF), affiliated with American Business Media, was established in 1985 by Harold W. McGraw Jr., Chairman Emeritus of The McGraw-Hill Companies. Since then, BPEF has actively promoted the business media industry among college students nationwide through a unique internship program and various scholarship programs. Over the last two decades, BPEF has placed over 700 students in internships and awarded more than 50 scholarships.
The Internship Program offers college students internships at business media companies. Internships are paid opportunities, unless otherwise noted. The BPEF staff works hard to place the best qualified individuals in positions that suit their needs, interests and talents.
BPEF offers talented college students exposure to the many career opportunities in the business media industry. By participating in the BPEF, your company can help engage and mold the future of business media, encouraging today’s students to learn more, know more and interact more with our industry.
Today’s business media hopefuls already know how to swim in the deep end of the digital pool, bringing their ingrained expertise to your company, and ultimately helping us all with this industry transformation we are currently facing. The intern you hire may become a valuable member of your organization; in the past two years a number of former BPEF interns have moved into full time positions with ABM member companies.
