Joshua Kuvin joined American Business Media in November 2007 as senior vice president, chief technology officer, responsible for overseeing the Association’s technical issues and digital media efforts.
Josh has been involved in broadcast journalism since 1992, when he joined a new start-up magazine at NBC, Dateline. For the next 15 years, he covered every breaking news story that appeared in its headlines. While at NBC, he also worked for NBC Sports and the Olympic games. During his tenure there, he was developer and project leader of a new technology, eTranscription, which is still in use today. Josh left NBC in January 2007 to work with Dan Rather at HDNet, where he produced many stories and specials. He has also served as independent director and technical director for The Wall Street Journal Television at Dow Jones, NBA Entertainment and the Madison Square Garden Network.
Josh has 11 Emmy Award-winning pieces under his belt, an Overseas Press Club Award for Tom Brokaw’s special about The Golden Venture, a Polk Award, Headliner Awards and two Edward R. Murrow Awards.
