The Media Advisory Board brings together advertising agency media executives with key ABM member disciplines of research, promotion and publishing, in an on-going forum to exchange ideas about opportunities, current challenges and information needs. The board's goal is to identify best practices and determine ways to provide value to marketers through targeted research and the dissemination of needed information that will assist in documenting the value of business-to-business media.
The committee created a new standardized Request for Proposal (RFP) in conjunction with the American Association of Advertising Agencies that can be used by marketers, media buyers and sales teams to efficiently work in concert with each other. The committee created a two-sided laminated digest-sized card titled "How Evaluating B-to-B Media is Different than Consumer." Multiple copies of the card were sent business-to-business advertising agency media directors to distribute to their media planners and buyers. The card was sponsored by Prism Business Media.
