Mission

  • To promote the strategic value of marketing to the business media community through awareness and education
  • To define, identify and share standards and best practices for business media marketing
  • To conduct research to qualify and quantify the value of marketing for the business media community  
  • To create a forum for ABM members and marketers to share information, experiences and best practices

Projects

The committee created the first annual ABM Media Kit Awards Program in 2006.

The committee created the ABM Media Kit Best Practices Guidelines to establish building blocks for outstanding kits.  Areas covered included planning, strategy, content, process, packaging, communication, inventory and updating.

The committee also developed an ABM Media Kit Timeline & Checklist that sets the standard for streamlined media kit development.
