BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS MAGAZINES REBOUND IN 2007
13 of 21 BIN categories show revenue growth for full year
NEW YORK, March 25, 2008 – At first glance, the year-end numbers for 2007 appear to show a slight decline (-2.0%). However when the numbers are examined more closely, in fact, 13 of the 21 Business Information Network (BIN) categories are showing growth.
The greatest growth occurred in the categories ‘Resources, Environment & Utilities,’ ‘Architecture, Design & Lighting,’ and ‘Science, Research & Development,’ each of which boasted year-to-date increases of 12.72%, 10.49%, and 10.11% respectively.
In addition, the BIN categories ‘Agriculture’ and ‘Aviation, Aerospace & Military’ made impressive comebacks over the last twelve months, ending up at 6.83% and 0.32% respectively.
Gordon T. Hughes II, president and CEO of American Business Media, remarked, “We are pleased with the fact that 13 of our magazine categories are showing growth. Combined with the continued growth of our digital and events businesses, it reflects a robust b-to-b industry.”
