Paul Gillin, Author of The New Influencers, Paul Gillin Communications
Paul Gillin is a veteran technology journalist with more than 23 years of editorial leadership. As founding editor-in-chief of TechTarget, one of the most successful new media entities to emerge on the Internet. Previously, he was editor-in-chief and executive editor of Computerworld magazine. He writes the social media column for BtoB magazine, and his new book, The New Influencers, chronicles the changes in markets being driven by the new breed of bloggers and podcasters. Gillin specializes in advising business-to-business marketers on strategies to optimize their use of online channels to reach buyers cost-effectively. He is particularly interested in social media and the application of personal publishing to brand awareness and business marketing. Paul is a Research Fellow and a member of the advisory board of the Society for New Communications Research. He blogs at www.paulgillin.com.

 

Sean Brooks, Vice President, Social Publishing, TechTarget
Sean Brooks is responsible for the strategic direction all social publishing initiatives, including blogs, wikis, widgets and other Web 2.0 technologies to facilitate user-generated content, for TechTarget’s network of 41 technology-specific Web sites.  Sean is also responsible for managing relationships with TechTarget’s strategic partners including Google, Monster, Yahoo! and others. 
Dora Chomiak, Senior Director, eBusiness & Digital Media, McGraw-Hill Construction, Information and Media Services
As the leader of eBusiness and Digital Media for McGraw-Hill Construction, Dora draws on more than 15 years of experience in international finance, media, and marketing. She began her career with the Soros Foundations, where she established a national television network in Ukraine and began publishing online. Upon completing her MBA at Columbia University, Dora joined the Executive Development Program at the McGraw-Hill Companies and has held a series of position in marketing, product development and sales management. She has re-launched and grown several web properties including ArchitecturalRecord.com and GreenSourceMag.com which are the first phase of the social media initiatives at McGraw-Hill Construction. Currently, she leads a team responsible for driving new revenue to McGraw-Hill Construction using the Internet as a marketing and sales channel.
Matt Preschern, Vice President, Small and Medium Business (SMB) & Ecosystem Communications, IBM
Matt is responsible for leading IBM's global Communications efforts in the mid-market, the various go-to-market channels, and the expanded ecosystem – collectively, one of the fastest IBM growth segments. Matt helps design and execute SMB-specific Marketing campaigns and leads the SMB & ecosystem media, press and analyst relations efforts. He explores and implements new and innovative approaches to interact and collaborate with clients and influencers. This includes Innovation roundtables, “Jams” or on-line collaborative discussion forums, webcasts with IBM Research, sales advisory councils, podcasts, blogs and wikis. Matt also develops industry-specific sales collateral, mid-market client success stories and leads SMB education & training efforts.
