This presentation will highlight the special role that custom publications play in the current economic environment and increasingly fragmented media landscape.  Barry will set the stage by presenting recent findings from GfK Roper Reports on the consumer mindset.  Using findings from CPC's 2009 and 2005 studies, the presentation will reveal what consumers say are the unique benefits that custom publications provide in meeting their information needs.  As examples, the presentation will look specifically at custom publications geared to the automotive and health care marketplaces.  The readership and impact of electronic custom publications will be presented especially among young adults.
