Vern Henry/Former Editorial Director/Advanstar Communications
Vern Henry brings 49 years of journalistic experience to the Content Reviews. His career includes 24 years in newspapering and 25 in the business press. Vern is the recipient of the 2004 American Business Media Crain Award for a distinguished editorial career.

In 2001, Vern received the American Business Publication Editors Lifetime Achievement Award. Twice he was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. In 1978, Vern won the National Newspaper Association Best Column Award.He has won more than 30 national, state and military writing and editing awards. In 1994 he was inducted into the Kappa Tau Alpha Journalism Hall of Fame, Bowling Green State University.

Scheduled seminar topics will include: BPA’s Brand Reach audit, which allows media owners to report their full complement of products in a single, database audit; the BPA Interactive tool, which provides members with web measurement metrics at no additional cost; Auditing Digital Magazines, including the challenges and opportunities facing the magazine marketplace and the steps BPA is taking to development “next generation” definitions and metrics; and Future Initiatives and Upcoming Rules Under Consideration which may affect audit rules, procedures and reporting formats.
