Tim Hermes is a publishing entrepreneur and B-to-B online video pioneer. In the last three years his B-to-B publishing businesses have sold over $2 million in sponsored online video revenue. He is an expert in helping customers understand the use of video in all marketing efforts - as well as helping them re-purpose video for use in other mediums, like events and shows. He has extensive experience in monetizing all main type of video - including newscasts, trade show interviews, booth tours, vertical topics, thought leaders videos, training videos and product introduction. He spent 15 years at Access Intelligence (formerly PBI Media) before starting his own B-to-B publication, Broadband Technology Report (BTR), in 2004 and www.telecomcompanytv.com, a DIY video production site for telecom manufacturers, in 2009. In 2011 he sold BTR and TCTV to PennWell Corporation and is currently a consultant for PennWell. 

 




Mark Stach

Mark Stach joined Crain Communications in November of 2010 as Publisher and General Manager, Strategic Business Media, Business Insurance.  Mark, the first nontraditional publisher in the company's history, is focused on bringing new innovation to the traditional publishing model while leading one of Crain Communication's premiere brands.  Previously Mark held the roles of Global COO and CFO, Consulting for Hewitt Associates, a global leader in human resources consulting and outsourcing.  As a result, he understands the demand for ROI in the C-suite.  In addition, Mark brings a B2C retail mindset and digital strategy experience to the publishing model from his leadership roles at the leading edge online retail sites, Orbitz and uBid and at the digital strategy focused management consultancy, Diamond Technology Partners.  Mark was also a consultant for William M. Mercer, serving as a national specialist in interactive communication media.  Mark earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
