In 1995, American Business Media brought together some of the top advertising minds in the nation to recognize the brilliance of business-to-business advertising, and the CEBA awards were born.
With early guidance by legendary creative Jay Schulberg and agency power CEO David Bell, the awards quickly came to represent the value, creativity, and impact business advertising has on industries across the globe.
But the CEBAs represent more than business-to-business and a $25,000 grand prize, they have become a gold standard of creative recognized by advertising peers and clients alike, and highlight the breadth, reach, and innovation of some of the world’s top agencies. And, as in 2001, when Carmichael Lynch won the Grand CEBA for its American Advertising Federation campaign, the awards serve as a window through which the ad community can e inating eye of former judges such as Leo Burnett’s Cheryl Berman, John Colasanti of Carmichael Lynch, and other advertising visionaries, the CEBAs now offer a forum of discussion of the best ways to reach people through a variety of media.
